Default Anyone use these foot warmers?

Looking for something better. I know they're spendy, but I've come very close to losing my toes to frostbite. Every year I get it, one was very bad. The chemical packs aren't that great because my feet will sweat as soon as I put them in, and the moisture kills them. But they need some air to work.... I just can't depend on them.

My feet are constantly cold, even in summer, and I have little feeling left in them. I think I might have Reynaud's, but haven't spoke to the doc about it yet. Either way I need something better to keep my toes on my feet! Some of them require a long charge, I'd want one that doesn't and still lasts all day.

Never seen them before but looks like a good solution. can i ask what kind of boots you use. My wife had the same problem she went threw many high end boots always finding the same outcome of cold feet enough she almost didn't want to go a few times. then we picked up some Klim Radium she hasn't had a problem sense. If you have a 12volt supply this may be another option http://www.gerbing.com/Products/insoles.html

I was just looking at those too. They can be run off a battery pack, it's a bit bigger though and doesn't say how long the battery will last. I have tried lots of different boots. I normally use snowboard boots since I like how stiff they are and supportive (have an ankle with a torn ligament that gives me problems sometimes). A few years ago they kept my feet warmer, but after the severe frostbite I can't find anything that will keep them warm. And they don't leak.

my wife used to have problems with cold toes, the problem turned out to be women's boots! they are smaller or slimmer to look dainty or some chit...bought her a pair of men's Sorels and her toes have never been cold since....they are ugly, but effective.

I have a pair of boots from Cabelas that are quite large, lots of room in the toes and a half size too big and it's the same story. They're the lowest rated I could find, rated to like -100 F or something.

I know this may sound stupid but sometimes I get really cold feet too. For awhile it was so bad I didn't want to sled anymore. I went into the chiropractor one day, I go every 4 weeks, anyway he adjusted my pelvis and bam problem solved!! When my feet start getting cold again I make sure I get into my chiro before our trips and my feet are good to go.

Very interesting. I did get adjusted a couple weeks ago and she said my pelvis was crooked or something. However it hasn't helped my cold feet at all....

Maybe next time you go to your chiro mention the cold feet thing to them and see what they have to say.

I've never tried these socks, but Dad was telling me about them. He saw a special on tv about them. My feet are always cold so I've thought about them, but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

also, have them check your feet and toes! there are 26 bones in each foot(1/4 of all the bones in your body are in your feet) and it is quite easy for them to move slightly, disrupting the normal movemnet of the foot. this can cause all sorts of problems, including cold toes. it's definitely not the only cause, but it doesn't hurt to have them checked, especially if you are already going to see a chiro anyways
