Whats the average time of year you can start road riding?
Grave Creek/Kootenai NF area shouldn't have limitations like FH NF by what I understand?

Yeah, I'm getting ansy...but just curious.

I ride Skyland all the time and our first ride is usuallly New Years and theres still a lot of stumps and brush. Never ridden Lost Johnny or the mountain by whitefish Big Mountain??

I generally try for my first road ride up graves...the weekend before thanksgiving...but just depends on the snow. Last year was early nov

I was sorta figuring Graves would be the best 'legal' option, at least for my location.

When does the Flathead "officially" open to over snow users? Its date limited, correct?
