I drove over WCP on Thursday night coming from Durango- disaster.
Three semi's spun out, touristas galore in mini-vans waiting in line behind the semi's, Kia's with bald tires & 4" exhaust, one CSP parked 500 yards into one of the "Do Not Stop or Park Next 2 mi.: Avalanche Danger!" areas checking his FaceBook Wall. Visibility was about 30'. Most of the pass is like driving down a hallway. That said - everything off of the road would be snowmobile haven!!! Looked like 2-4' easily of fresh snow on top. Sure hope someone got a blue-bird day with that blanket of pow!

MD.

Note to self: Check beacon batteries, pack your larger shovel & longer probes.

Mike - no riding till the cabin roof is cleared. Bring your shovel!

;-)

MtnDoo

Note to self: The snow on the roof is taller than I am. I can walk off of the porch roof where I shoveled onto snow.
