Good idea, sell bolt in kits for the blaster's 250EX's, small quads like that. I belive a blaster, piped, 240 kit, reeds etc, makes about 40 hp..give or take.

I was thinking eliminate the tranny(most are connected to the motor anyway) and run a cvt system like a sled-simple secondary/ jackshaft arrangement to chain driven axle. Its been done before but with bigger motors-with this single I think it could end up lighter and with more power.

clutch calibration has yet to be figured out which is why we are searching for a cheap application to try it out!

Good luck with it, friend built a sandrail with a 540 yamaha motor in it, was suppose to be 5hp B&Sand been tuning on it for years trying to get that exact setup to work. Obviously you are better at building these things than I am, haha....... so hopefully yours works better than ours.

Interested to see this follow through, maybe see some stuff to help build ours....

I agree! pretty sure there wouldn't be enough room though-especially for the pipe!
Now if we were to build a tube chassis for it, maybe stretch it out a bit more and create some room...
