Default 04 rev power cut problem

Sled starts and idles fine.. once riding the headlight and gauges cut in and out along with sled.. it never actually dies just sounds and feels lumpy.. I heard it may be a relay but im new to the revs.. any help on where to start would be appreciated..

The relay is a little black box about 1in. x 1in. that is located just above the inside airbox on the clutch side. it has a 4 wire connector plugged into it. Very common issue, and typicaly around $30 from a dealer. Also a good idea to pack a spare.

If thats not it , look at the stator ! Mine acted up with more load , like hand warmers and when hitting brights on and off. HV

I will for sure, i want this thing dialed in for next season.. Thanks for the heads up!

If the relay and stator check out ok, look for a short in the tail light wires. Had an older sled(not a rev) did something simular.

Finally had a chance to look at the sled.. First thing i checked was the tail light wiring and BINGO there was a a short in it! I also went to Napa and for 7$ and some change i had a new relay! Me and Clayton are going out in the next couple days soo hopefully that fixed it and the stator isnt still the problem. I'll keep everyone posted, thanks again for the help!
