Default 800 Heat Exchanger

Anybody have an 800 heat exchanger for sale? I'm looking to upgrade my 600 to the heat exchanger from an 800. Looking for comments on doing this.

For the rads the installation is pretty easy. You have to install the front pad first and after that you take the rads and install x 2 3/16 bolt in the front hole. Then you c clamp the back of the cooler and adjust the height of the back with your gas tank and cowling on top.Mine with the 12 gal install ,the end of the rad were about 3/8 to 1/2 inch above the frame at the end.

Once that done you can bolt it tight with 4 bolt and drill all the rest.

For my self ,i installl the 800 rads because of overheating but i think you can just add a reducer at the output of the rad to slow down the flow and increase the pressure. The coolant stay longer in the rads.AD Boivin did that in 2007.So probably it would help alot.

I have a trail tech and its running at 46 deg C and sometime get warmer when hard pack or stuff like that.Since i have the 800 rads with reducer and trail tech to tell me when its getting too hot and never had any problem.

if you are still running the snow flap i would say not to bother! i added another set of bungies to my snow flap and havent had a problem with my 800 overheating.
