Default Perfect setup for snow bike?

Is there such a thing with a stock bike. Looking at getting a bike and explorer setup. Mostly mountain riding. Looking at the ktm 530 but can get into a Kawasaki kx450f or Honda crf450r for less money. What would you guys that have ridden in the mountains go with? Thanks

Check out timber sleds version, it looks like the best kit so far.

in the mid 80's they put out the rz 350, water cooled, 2 stroke twin, servo actuated power vaulves and also the rz 500.

I have owned all of these except the 500 (which is very, very rare) even the rz350'S are getting pretty hard too find.

luckily the 350 was also used in the banshee (after being de-tuned and having the power vaulves removed)

You can big bore the banshee motor too 500 cc, but still gonna have too shift!!!!!!!!!!!

good question for steve, he put a 2moto on the back of a banshee and skis on the front, how did she go????????
