So, we gotta start a tread here... . What is the compression on the new 800 Dragon? And what kinda boost can you run on a turbo'd 800 before race fuel becomes a part of the equation???

I'll be the first one to admit when I have no clue, rather than guess or blow smoke up someones a$$.

I'm not a big polaris guru, I just port them.

So to get to the point, I could give my educated guess but thats all it would be

13:1 and about 8lbs depending on elevation, hows that for a guess..lol

Did you get my PM, if so I'll answer you here. I'm not going to be spending much time over there anymore

Mike

Default Hey partner

Not sure if I got your last pm. Seems I wore out my welcome and am no longer welcome. Good to see you over here. far as compression goes... that sounds about right and the boost...well gonna say round 7 at 6000 +. Just my guess. I know you wanna be under 4 at sea level. On my Yammy with a head shim I can run 10. I was just trying to get your thread rolling.... . This place has a lot of potential.

Heck with ppl like you around this place will rock!!!

Cheers

I just want to help out any way possible, I've been on sleds my whole life and learned a few things along the way.

My dad owned the local sled shop and sold COLEMAN SKIROLES sp...

I was on a sled long before I could walk and the passion is part of me.

My first new sled was a 1981 arctic cat Jag 440, I bought it with my own money when I was 15. Since then I've rode pretty much every sled cat produced, my last cat was a 2004 kingcat with several engines 990,1100,1200

I'm currently on a custom 07 apex running a Simmons propane set up, good to about 400 hp with the rod, piston and block up grades.

Thanks for adding to this great new site, it will take all of us posting and helping out to make it the best site on the planet..

Really all I can do because I live at 5,000 ft and ride at 8,500 ft is help you improve what you've got.

I'll need to know how it runs now, what you need it to do better and info on gearing, weights, springs, and helix.

Feel free to call, or pm me your # and I'll call you
