I heard through the grape vine that the core lodge has two feet. Arctic cat meadows has 4 feet and the back meadows has 6-7 feet of snow. Let's mount up boy's and girls and head out!!!!!!

Where is the Core Lodge in Tumbler? And how far in until you get to the good stuff there? Trying to head up for wednesday and just curious if I'm going to need extra gas to get in there.

You know it's a good day when you need to ride your sled to work!!!!!! Thanks for the pic's. A buddy and I are heading out tommorow. Not sure if we are going to red deer falls or the core lodge. The core lodge is about 20 km from Tumbler on the Heritage highway towards Beaverlodge not Dawson creek. You turn east off the Heritage and follow the road in to the core lodge. You have to go in about 10 km and watch for a wide open creek area. The core lodge is the next turn to the right, you'll see a small building and a trail groomer there. Go east from the small cabin on the road and it takes you to the sledding areas. You don't need to pack in fuel as the area isn't far from the cabin!!!!! Have fun!!! And watch for rocks this early. Small bumps in the snow will be rocks!!!!

Thanks for the info. Would Red Deer Falls be better now? How would we get there? Sorry for the questions but I'm in need of getting out asap.
