Default 509 Helmets?

I am looking for a new helmet this year and came accross the 509 Helmet. I have read on other forums that it is a vx-17 with "bold, new graphics" Does anybody have one of these yet? I would hat to drop 200 dollars on an 100 dollar helmet. If you have on can you please post a review.

I just got mine, looks really good in person... good quality, looks well built. I don't think you will be disappointed. Check their website, they might even be doing the 'free googles with helmet' offer...

I really like it!! As soon as you start moving you can feel the cool air flowing through it. And its very light. Also get the 509 goggles and the Polarized lens for them, I got the brown Polorized lens for mine and you almost forget your wearing them!

How big are the 509 goggles? I need glasses, so I wear my auto darkening prescription sunglasses under my current Scott goggles...will sunglasses fit under the 509s?

I have both sitting here and the 509's fit way better with glasses on. They are a little wider and deeper

Good to know! I really don't have many problems with the TurboFlows other than at stop signs or a REALLY cold morning. I have them on QuickStraps it's easy to flop them off at a stop sign. Kind of a pain in the ass...but you get used to it. Sure would be nice not to have to worry about the glasses fogging up any more though!

So how much airflow is in this helmet? More of a warm day helmet or not? Thanks
