Default what a weekend....

well, started out thursday i went to work at 2 am so i could still work and ride that day, we got to placer river thursday at about 10:30! played on the front entrance into squerrel a little then decided to head around to see if the back way in wasnt so bad(avalanchy). we were able to break in placer untouched after the long shutdown of placer we were the first ones in! was an amazing day with patches of sun and some descent footage...

we packed up then drove down to lost lake, (we were in a white two 4 place enclosed) that day was an amazingly bluebird day that started out great! we took an hour and built a nice kicker my buddy on a rev won the rock paper scissors and got to hit it first, he launches going about 40-50 feet. i watch, go ooooo that was smooth landing! so i am pretty confident in the jump and landing! well i get to the top of my run and i get the signal that all cameras are a go (had 3 set up and my helm cam on) this being my first hit i didnt turn my helmet cam on (what a regret!) so i rip into this jump launching 50-60 feet just farther then my rev buddy, except when im mid air i look down and there is a edge rmk carving up the hill and yes, im thinking hes gonna stop, hes gonna stop, but he panics and doesnt let off the gas at all!!!!!!! i brace for impact my left ski lands directly on his cowling and my track lands about 8 inches up his cowling. i cartwheel and so does my sled!!!!

3 sleds and 2 camera guys both filming and this guy comes riding in outa nowhere to be "in the spotlight"... i cant bieleve this!!!! hes lucky to be alive he was definatly a rookie rider and learned a valueable lesson the hard way..

my sled is fine which is highly amazing, his sled isnt so pretty i smashed his pipe flat broke both sparkplugs and caps and destroyed his cowling.

man the chances of this happening in the big picture of all the acreage and how many riders to the second i launch.... i still cant fathom this...

problem was he wasnt heading for us at all till the camera guys all gave me the go, i then concentrated on my approach and the jump, several lessons learned today, for me and this guy both.

but wtf we got a whole backcountry to ourselfs and this guy has to come ride right in the middle of our 3 sleds 2 filmers and our big booter we just spent an hour building!!!!! even if we didnt hit eachother he was carving a big oll side hill right where we would be landing...

it was all i had inside me not to be really pissed but im fine, my sleds fine, and this guys sled is smashed!!!!! so maybe that was his lesson!!!

i have it on my sony compact hd video, you see the hit and everything when i get time ill down grade the quality to upload and let everyone see a 2010 m8 land on an edge rmk!!! my skag is stained red! what a close call im just glad nobody got hurt and there were no hard feelings.

ill get on uploading this video tommorrow im one sore cat!!!!

other then that, was an amazing two day riding trip!!!!!!
