Default Doo 1200 Turbo Build

Well, here are a few pics of my project.
Its not the drag sleds I read about on Dootalk, but it should be a fun buggy.

CLICKY:AVID Chaincase Install
CLICKY: Deconstruction
CLICKY: What's Missing
CLICKY: AVID 8T, 3" pitch Drivers

Here's the basic plan:
- 09 1200 Renegade Donor Sled (50mi)
- PL Turbo (Stage II)
- Hurricane Block Mods & JE Pistons
- Polar Primary
- STM Tower Brace
- 162" Doo tunnel
- 162" x 3" x 16" track
- Avid Extended Chaincase
- Avid welded shaft & drivers
- Holz Skid
- Holz Front w /Evol R
- Ice Age Rails, 10.5" Idlers
- some other goodies

- dreaming of a CF Chassis & XP plastics, but can't go there yet.

Looking forward to getting it on snow and figuring out fueling and clutching!

Thanks to everyone who's answered my "Turbo Newbie" questions!
Thanks to Lynn, Calvin & Brooke at Felker Motorsports for all their help so far!
...and all the vendors too!

Have you used the POLAR?

It's highly recommended, but we're curious to see how it works..

That's gonna be fun. How long 'til it's on the snow?

It's gonna be a little while - motor's out in Ontario having surgery, fan kit should be in the mail by month's end (fingers x'd)... skid shipped this week & need to order a track and front shox...

I haven't even seen it in person.....frickin money pit!

We've got snow, so I'll probably head up to fetch my 800 from Felkers in a week or so...

;-)

Thanks!
Once we get the motor dialed, I'm going to start stripping every ounce off of it.
My goal is to make it lighter than my 2-Stroke 800 Doo.

Pretty confident that in another season, I can get it there.

hehe.
