Default 58 / 60 weights for Cooke?

Are you guys running 10-58 or 10-60 weights in cooke? 09 RMK 800 sled stock with PC5. Last year I ran 10-60's and I wanted a few hundred more rpm's on climbs without the PC5. Just curious what others are running at those elevations(9000').

You should be able to pull the 60s I would think. In my 08 D7 I run the 58s up to 10k and I can spin them at 8000 up that high.

Under load last year It was pulling about 7900 with the 60's. I think I will get some 58's and try them. It can't hurt.

Same boat here. Last year 09 assault w/slp single at 9000-12000, started with 10-60 = 7950 +or-, switched to 10-58 = 8150 and a grin. this year added pc5 and gained rpms at 1000' running 70 grams. I should add it is not the latest polaris flash. So i'm not sure if I should start with the 60's if the rpm gain will stay at elevation or not. I know I will be wrong and changing to 10-58 within 20 minutes.

I am running the stock 20/41 gears as I thought I would be able to pull those considering I only have a 144" track. My sled has the same gears as a stock assault btw. At home I am still running 68's and pulling about 8100 with the PC5 and DTR's 157 map on the original 2010 flash from Polaris.

My buddy just got back from West yellowstone and was pulling 60's nicely he said. So thats what im being with me and my slp mtx 68's. Gonna start with the mtx weights first then ill goto the 60's if she cant pull um. It only takes 20 minutes to change the weights with a couple screw drives and a socket to hold the clutch open.
