These goggles are amazing. I've used everything under the sun when it comes to googles. Oakley, haber, scott, dragon, spy, etc. the 509s just plain work better. They are made by sledders for sledders.
This year I got to try out the new polarized lenses and the aviator goggles. Polarized lenses: Ruined me for life, work great in pretty much all conditions, but expecially in low light, thats where they shined. One trip this season we got out late (past dark). I did have to switch to a different lense for the trip home and when completly dark outside they where a little hard to see out of. Since i hardly ever ride in the dark, didn't bother me Aviator Goggles: talk about some nice looking goggles, that function even better . They do exactly what they claim, give you a larger field of view that most standard goggles. They work very well, fit helment (fly) extremely well, lots of foam to a more conformed fit. ONLY down side to them that i found was this year 509 didnt offer a polarized lenses for them. however, next season i've heard will be different.

I run the polarized lenses in the standard 509's.
Things are awsome. I won't own anything else.

I own and use both the Sinister goggles (not polarized) and the Aviator.
DAMN the sinister's are a nice pair of well fitting goggles but......DAMN, the Aviators are amazing. Just that, Flat-out amazing. I have had part of my neck fused so I've lost some ability to turn my head around very far to check on people behind me in the riding group and with the Aviators and their huge field of peripheral vision I don't have to strain my neck so far to try to see. I also have the Haber fog eliminator do-hickey in them and because of that, I don't have to take the helmet or goggles off to help dig....er...someone ELSE out...Ya, that's it...Someone else when they get stuck! Tom Delanoy definitely got it right on these. Great goggles and worth every penny...all Twelve thousand, Eight hundred of them ![]() I always rode with an NMFH in the harsher weather, saving the open faced style helmets for spring riding when I could wear sunglasses because goggles cut down so much of my vision and they ALWAYS fogged up. I can honestly say I will NEVER have to wear the 'Ol NMFH again! I also own the new 509 helmet and it's AWESOME light and cool with all the vents in it but that's another product review for another day! Hey...who else is sitting around the house at the computer, yakkin' on BCR while only wearing a "T" shirt, TekVest helmet and goggles.........? I wouldn't have wore the "T" shirt but the TekVest chafes my nipples! ![]()

I bought the Sinister's this year, and they rock! I will never waste my money on other goggles again. I still have a pair of Oakleys for back up's, but I can't even wear the Scotts any more after wearing 509's!

Hi Rebel The eliminator fits in the aviator no problem and to fit them in the sinisters you simply flip the top bracket upside down and screw it down that way to accomodate the piece of plastic on top. Jan

You have to mount them in there just a bit off-center but only by about an 1/8th to 1/4". It really isn't noticeable to anybody but the guy who installed it! Here's a pic inside the aviator... ![]() I wore them on a "Mule-train" ride last weekend with about 40 other WSSA riders at the big yearly convention in Chelan and had a few comments about how cool they looked and how "I looked like a spaceman or fighter pilot"!Awesome product.
