We had a lot of different sleds while the kids were growing up, the one I liked the best for that age group was the Elan.

It went well in deep snow, kids could start it themselves and when they jumped off to play without turning it off (they did it a lot) it didn't burn down.

Any small fan sled works pretty well though.

Depends on how new you want to go.
Ski-doo makes their 340 sled.
Seen a few of them up at the snowies.
Don't know how well they do off trail, but it is a good sled.

YOu should have shot a video of that.
It would have made great blackmale material in 10 years.
