mount it on the inlet to the can right at the bend area

Here is where we mounted our gagues...I have been told you shouldn't mount a boondocker box on the outside where water can leak into it.. doh!

I was going to post a pic of the welded bung in the SLP can but that wouldn't do you any good eh? LOL

SLP did lots of testing on this the last couple years. The last I heard was they are now putting them in the expansion chamber, across from the exhaust temp sensor. I ran mine there last year at the recommendations of Dustin @ SLP and Justin @ Code Red and it worked great, if I were still running it I would put it back there.

Here is a pic of mine last year.
