Default ZX2 Owners

After trying many different spring/shock combinations, I think I've finally found something that works very well for the ZX2 under a Hawk.....Fox Float Evol. I'm currently running it in a single configuration, it works well under small stutter bumps but will still bottom out under big hits. I ordered a second shock today, which in dual configuration, will help me dial in the proper preload and bottoming, plus double my rebound dampening. For those of you interested in doing this, the shock is a standard setup in the later Timbersled Mountain Tamer Skid. The length is a direct match. You will have to swap out your upper 1" steel shaft for a 3/4" diameter and then sleeve it in 1" dia aluminum tube with .125 wall. Also install a 1" to 3/4" bushing in the upper shock eyelet. Even in the dual configuration, the weight is about 6lbs less then the standard G Force shocks

Yes you can, but I'm almost at max pressure in both chambers and I could use the extra rebound dampening of the 2nd shock.
