Default reeds

When my hawk was 2 years old the boots ripped, I replaced them with v-force. ripped again. from what I read Boyesen is the way to go. we'll find out.

if you need reeds and want to save a couple bucks
Boyesen has a %30 off sale right now
checkout code: motoroll16

I am not affiliated anyway, just passing it along.

Every hawk i have had or helped setup i have insisted on running the boysen rage cage.
Unless you want your throttle cable holder to eat into your jackshaft you do need to mod it to add clearance. Rage cage puts carbs closer to jackshaft (see attached pic)
I also shortened the barrels that limit how tight the hose clamps tightened on the carb side of the boot (had some fuel leakage, the clamps would also rotate after running hawk for a few rides) obviously not tight enough.
Other than those two minor mods they work awesome. No torn boots in the last 7 years.
