Really?! Fml. I did the rktek re curve when I did the 800 install cause my hawk was a 600 originally.

Maybe this is common knowledge, but its new to me. if you read the install Instructions they include an interesting note. 'When tuning with an aftermarket digital tach target rpm is 7800-7850. They go on about oem tach is 200rpm out. The whole time I have been trying to reach 8000-8100... Now if the snow ever comes I may make some progress clutching.

When tuning for the RPM's. You will know if the R's are too high. The horse power will feel like it dropped off (called falling on its face). We always used this method when dialing in our Clutching. You will find that most OEM tachs are off, unless they've been calibrated.
