Default University of Colorado (Colorado Springs)

Daughter is looking into nursing school and is looking at UC Colorado Springs. Anyone have any opinions (good or bad) of the area? She loves winter sports and liked the other parts of the state when we vacationed there. Figured I would visit often during the winter (OOOOHHHH YEAHHHH!!!!!)

She'd like to work on getting a Nurse Practitioner license too.

She's currently a Junior in High School, but has been accepted to Winnona MN for their Nursing Program. Takes after her mom on the school studies, GPA of 3.98 so far.

The Springs is a good place to live by most accounts. It is a heavy military area with a more conservative bent than Boulder. The Salida/Beuna Vista area is only a 2-3 hr drive. Plenty of awesome outdoor rec around there.
