So I was talking to the guy I bought my lights for my old truck and he recommended LED. Does anyone have any experience or have any ideas about those? Thanks for opinions!

Sure seems like it. I parked in front of some windows where I could watch the headlights as I turned them on and off.

If you see my link above, its too LED fog lights. I installed a set on my dmax, and so far I am happy with them. I have heard that they are not all that great for headlights... Light pattern is off, and they do not put out heat. Which in MN, you need bulbs that do put out heat to melt snow off of the headlight housings..

So how do you like the LED bar in the lower grill? And the fogs are just bulb replacements?

Love the LED bar! Really lights up the road. Correct, the LED's are a bulb replacement. Plug and play. Impressed with the light output and quality. I was running HID's in my fogs at one point, but I took them out due to melting the foglight housing... Should have went with 25w HID's instead of 35w.

Default Can you put HID headlights on 2013 chevy silvarado duramax?

I have oracle LED bulbs in my 2012 ford and no issue so far. Much better output than the stockers. The one thing I don't like is my headlight bulbs incorporate high and low beam in one, so I lost high beams, but I also have a lightbar for use when I want a high beam. Love them so far and being a separate bulb you're truck won't lose the high beam.

Going to re-visit this again. I have not done anything yet but was wondering if any of you guys have any current LED options now for the 2013 Silverado. Got a lo-beam out and need to replace it with something. I think im going to steer away from HID's at this time....thanks

Low beam should be an H11..a few options like Ultra and Silver Star bulbs..
LED headlight bulbs make sure to get latest generation and check clearance behind lamps..
