Default What fishing gear do you own? And how is it?

Post up your fishing gear and whether you like it or don't.

15' Ugly stick Diawa 100 monster spinning reel (sturgeon) w/150 braid
12' Ugly stick Diawa 100 monster spinning reel (sturgeon) w/150 braid
10'6" RedL med/light IM6 with Abu Black max level wind (bar fishing) 13lb mono, (coho, chum, kings & steel)
3-9' Trophy XL med/heavy with penn spinning reels (downrigger salmon & Tuna) 30 lb mono
7'shimano med/light with small spinning reel (trout) 6lb mono
7'6" Berkley enforcer with abu ambassador level wind reel (trout) 10lb
10'6" Fenwick med mooching with islander center pin 50lb braid. (old school mooching rod with a great reel, sockeye killer).

The ugly sticks are ugly dino landing machines, reels are cheap and functional. RedL rod is awesome for a light 10'6" this rod will land 40lb kings to 2lb dollies all on 13lb test. Abu reel is fairly good but not as solid as the other one I own. However this rig allows me to flick a 3 oz. weight with almost no back swing. The trophy rigs are for downrigging. The little trout rods are for flipping and entertainment (I borrow them to any kids I see when fishing, gotta hook them young). The Fenwick is a solid senior citizen rig, as it's fairly old and has lots of experience. I'll take a picture of the pile once I can, most of this is in my yukon every day. Post up your gear.
Wow 9 rods not including the 5 or so I forget about in the back of the boat shed.

3 scotty power riggers, 4 knuckle buster riggers (2 Jensen, 2 scotties)

4 freezers for fish once I unload a ton of roe for bait.

6 smokers 2, cold smokers, 2 lil chiefs, 1 bradley and 1 small weird one with no name on it.

Too many boats and motors, can't even remember how many motors!

many super sharp filleting knives, gotta do something when watching hockey in winter, sharpen knives or eat junk food! sharp knives win!

of course having a son in law & grandson who fish with me is the best fishing thing I own.

Not a lot here but all is very well used.

Spinning Gear
Lamiglass mbs86 with a flueger presidential on it, only comes out for trolling or when the snake is ripping. Good setup but a little over kill for trout less than 4 lbs.
st croix avid ultra light with the same reel, awesome little 6.5' rod biggest brown on it was 7 lbs.

Fly Gear
8wt 9 ft Fenwick (brown fiberglass) with a cheap flueger on it. Was the first rod i owned, was a gift from my grand dad, big slow casting and i get a bit nostalgic when ever i throw it.
6wt 9ft tfo lefty kreigh sig series with an okuma slv real on it. Mostly my streamer big wind rod. Have a 5wt same model and reels for it that i use for drys. Love both rods as they are a great bang for the buck. My only complaint is durability, the 5 wt has been replaced 3 times by them. Floating line for both is rio gold, great shooting line.
2wt 7ft custom on a sage blank, ross flystart reel, rio gold line and is my rod of choice unless i need to punch line out there. Hands down going to a 2 wt made me a better flyfisherman than anything else ive done. Better finesse and you have to learn to use drag and fight fish not just haul them in like can be done on heavier gear. Largest fish that rods landed was a 22" brown on the snake river.

Ice
3 or 4 random set ups1 notable is a high end st croix 2-6 lb rod with a shimano reel. Awesome rod for jigging.

Everything I chase falls into the trout family.

Blu Du on here is probably your best bet for a straight musky fisherman on here.

I dont want to participate in this thread. Boat never leaves the dock without 8 rods on board. And there are more left at home than what's in the boat. If I were to make a list, it might appear to some that I have fishing obsession.

The boat? I've got 3, used to have 5. List it up Ultra, us southerners like to know what the northern guys are using in our pond.

I don't have a boat anymore, just the downriggers and the other gear for fishing... from a boat.

Always looking for another boat though.
