Default 900 cylinders and decompression holes

got a used set of cylinders and one of them has the decomp. hole and the other doesn't, secondly the one with the decomp hole has it off to the side , not right above the exhuast valve but over the exhuast port to the side, can these cylinders be used together? will it affect comp or anything?

the 03 had no decompression hole and the 04-06 do you can run them together just fine. I have done it myself and no noticeable diff.
the decomp hole should be about 1/3 off center of the main port.

Some of the dec holes were in the middle and some were off to the side.

If it bothers you to have 2 different cyls. you can plug the one with the hole.

You can thread a set screw in, it may chip the nikasil a little but a stone wheel and a dremel will clean it up.

If you use an epoxy on a cyl. spend the money on Devcon, it is designed for that type of application.
