An early season ride at Hart's is a good way to tear up a sled, but there is a lot of good riding up there once the snow gets deep enough. I'm hoping to make it up there this year, haven't ridden that area since around 2010.

Wait until you see the difference. Almost all of the burnt trees are down and the riding area has really grown huge within it's limits. I used to not really like it up there all that much compared to a few other places in the Methow but Harts really kicks butt now that you can go almost anywhere. Dead horse is still sketchy as always.
