1st off we need some links:

Forecast for west end-->
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...=107&map.y=147

Forecast for east end-->

http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick...0&unit=0&lg=en

And the doppler cam, located on the very edge of the WEST end, if its snowing here......its snowing everywhere on the MESA!

2 main ports of entry are West end--Lands End, Visitors Ctr, the lodges, and along hwy 65.

East end--Carbondale area and Glenwood.

Other secret areas come from the South and North....but the locals don't appreciate them being posted.

800sq miles of boondocking......

Where do you typically park if you are going in on the East end (Glenwood/Carbondale) area?

If your gonna goin in from G-wood. You go up four mile towards sunlight and park up in that area if you are in Carbondale you can park at the marion trail head and get in from that way.
