Default dimound s hood

what is every one doing for the intake and mounting of one. dont want to use the rubber boot from hood to intake to remove it faster

Here is what I did:
used a foam donut thing from wps I believe(maybe slp, can't remember)with stock airbox.

The duct on the DS hood fits right into it.
Then I shaved the little rib things off the nose cone and put that aluminum sheet in there, it mounts to the stock holes and is sealed with napa canopy tape
I glued the pipe insulation on the top so it would seal up to the hood and keep snow out.



3+ years/DEEP snow, no snow in the engine, sucks good air, no bogs, no sidevents, one belt a year, no B.S.

Also, that yellow stuff under that pipe insulation is the 3m super weatherstrip adhesive from NAPA. Been on there the whole time and has not come up yet. Good stuff
