Came across a Big Truck in flames on the side of the road, just passed the Gravel pit.Friggin thing was toast and still burnin good, no one around, looks like he waz hauling hay? Bummer for that guy, but looks like he got out ok |

Made a trip up to Eureka today to check it out. Uh, they need more snow
, maybe a foot of wind pack on average till you drop into old man creek then it thins out more and more till you get to the top of Monument where there is only a couple inches. Little Nel looked pretty lacking also, but i didn't drop down to it. It wasn't scoured but not much snow. So, save yourself some riding time and money ands ride elsewhere till we get more snow up there> |

Rode the trees across the highway from Gunsight then up to the lodge on Sat. 1-6. Snow still hanging in the trees and pow boiling over the hood all day. Close to 3' of loose snow with no base. Lots of stumps and willows. If we get another 1'+ or if some of whats there sets up it will be much better.
