I am running a mesh hood on my 09 M-8 and no factory guage pod (ugly and huge). The only thing I am really concerned with it my water temp. What is the best way to add a w/t guage to it. Which kind? Where should I connect it? What are you guys doing? Thanks in advance.

I like to run a inline temp gauge, very easy to install in a coolant line. Most atv parts stores sell them, the only down side is you have to be looking right at the install site to read it.
On my apex I got a remote gauge that I mounted in the cowling, its just a cheapo I got at auto zone but it still works. When I run Digitrons I always had water temp added for just a little extra, I put the probe in the stock temp sensor location. .

Thanks Hobbz. My biggest concern with an inline temp setup would be to create a cavitation in the water system. From your suggestion it sounds like there is an aftermarket application that would address this concern. I will look for one. By the way where abouts is the factory water temp sensor on an 09-M8 as I do not have a manual on it yet? Thanks again Hobbz

I looked through the parts break down and I can't see the temp sender, I also don't have a manual or a m-8 to look at.
Maybe someone has been into one and can help us out...
