Default Need help saving an 04 summit

Wrecked my 04 summit this week, I put a ski IN a culvert here in the midwest ditchbanging (DUMBA$$). The culvert was about 12-14 inches in dia. It sheered the bottom A-frame off and majorly tweeked the upper a-frame. The dealer said the forward bulkhead (what I call the nun) is bent. The bill to fix it is $3300. The insurance company said its totaled. I what to keep her if I can this sled RIPS. Has any one replaced a NUN before, is it difficult or just time comsuming??? Also was thinking that its only the left side if a frame machine could pull it back. How close to perfect does it have to be so it steers and handels good. How do you know where it should be, what or where do you measure from??? THANKS for any help.

How far back does the damage go??? Front bulkhead (nun) and then the bulkhead portion behind that with the lower A-arm monting angle are fairly easy and inexpensive to replace.....just time consuming. Parts and fasteners are under $400 if I remember correctly. Then if you need A-arms etc....the price goes up. I would total it if you're not into doing the work yourself, then maybe buy the sled back and salvage the engine. ??

Well I bought it back from the ins. company and took the plastic nose piece off and put it in a frame machine. The nun wasn't that bad, the bottom a arm pushed the middle bulkhead back bad on the left side. It bent bad enough that the peice behind the clutch was rubbing and it was almost touching the water pump neck. We spent about 3 hours pulling an beating on it and got it back to 1/4 inch from being perfect. Just a little bit of pull to the left when I let go of the bars on hard pack. Good enough to go RIP
