Got the cylinders all cleaned up with the acid and thanks to Rob and Jeff, we got it all put back together last night.

Hung the front of the sled way up and re filled the coolant.

Fired her up and seems to run good! Havent checked compression yet. Rode it around the block (passed 4 cops! haha) but we dont have enough snow for a good test run yet. Seems to run good though.

Going to do some dialing in with the clutching and carb settings as these 440s are super picky! I'll post up settings when I get them straightened out.

Ok, I ran the numbers this afternoon. 135 psi in each COLD @ WOT. I will test it warm, as well as test it a few more times. Im guessing the numbers should continue to climb a little as the rings set in.

I got a new clutch spring for the primary and picked up a shim kit for the carb needles as Im told that running it in the 2.5 position is best.

Long time update...

Since I FINALLY (after 3 years of tuning) got my 440 dialed in so it runs right, I got bored and needed something new to learn and tune.

Upgraded the 440/121 to 700/144

700 Non ves, 144 Ice Age Rails, 2" Camo Challenger, Custom Hein Speed Specialties extension, Big wheel kit, etc
