Default what can I do...can't find a solution...

I'll start by saying that I...am a sweater. I sweat, alot when I ride, or do anything active. I'm in actually pretty damn good shape, not overweight or anything -- I just hydrate a lot, and well...anti-hydrate when I work.

I have NEVER been able to keep a pair of goggles on my face. I've tried 4 brands...but I will almost always start fogging, even before i get out of the parking lot. What is the solution for me? has anybody found the "magic combo" of what I need?

I've done anti-fog cloth and / or paste with the brand new oakley's. Fog. Smith. Fog. Bolle. Fog. Do I need a nose cone? A fan? I'm at my wit's end...I always end up sledding with no goggles on, because otherwise I can't frickin' see...

help? solutions from those that have dealt with it???

cheers!

Go to habervision.com they have a little battery operated fan that turns on when moisture is detected and shuts off when goggles are clear. Fits inside your goggle lenses I think. I haven't tried then yet but will be ordering after christmas. Might be what your looking for! Later

I was just looking into the habervision website...they have those automatic fans that you can get for an existing pair, or one's that come included with their lenses....anyone have any experience with these??

If you have questions about the habervision products Ms. Swimmer and ATM here on this site can answer your questions. They are in the vendor section under Trax 2 Treadz.

They make generic breath boxs that you can put in most any helmet.

Cool. I'll see if i can get in touch with them. I'm still wondering if anybody has had personal experience, success or failures with this system or similar.

I need to be able to see,...it's important so I don't go off another 15' drop that I didn't see again.

Not yet but once they test fit them in both styles of 509's and they find that they fit I will be buying a set to use.
You can't go wrong with a fan in there because the only time I fog up is when I'm sitting without the air going through and around the goggles.

I sweat a lot too when I rode with other, warmer, less breathable clothing but I switched to all Kim gear last year and boy did that do the ticket.
I don't get cold but I'm never hot and sweaty either.

And I AM a fat old, out of shape guy!
