let out the limiter strap on the rear suspension. maybe stiffen up the front shock on the rear suspension. lighten up the rear spring pressure.
set front shocks up as light as you can for your riding style. you might have to tighten up a few things so you don't bottom out. this is just a starting point. I have no idea how you ride if you jump, if you drop stuff, or if you just run threw the trees. Ether way that should help but if you start to bottom out on things you need to turn the springs back up or you will create damage.

That is a joke you can't adjust the front shock on a 900.....that is just stupid IMO.....Would start looking for better shocks then.

Not sure then.......haven't worked on one in a long time. I'm at a loss then. Mule has one I'm sure he will chime in as soon as he finds this thread.

The big question is the difference in these two settings. It seems like the more forward setting would have less spring leverage. True/Not?

Sway bar's terrible in that sled... Getting rid of that is a step in the right direction, but there's still things you need to do to make it handle the way it should have from the factory.
Skis are awful. Anything's better than the stock skis; I've got Simmons on mine and they work pretty well. Spindles ... replace them with '07+ spindles. A-arms are the same dimension, but the geometry on the spindles changed. That improves handling quite a bit. Check ebay. Ditch the front radiator if you haven't done that already. Timbersled has a kit for it, what makes their kit "special" is the blockoff plate for the radiator. The rest of the parts you can get from a hardware store. Basically you replace the tee with a tube that joins the head to the front track heat exchanger, then plug the line to the overflow bottle. Doing this shaves about 12lbs off the front of the sled. I think i've still got the blockoff plate; didn't need it since I put a tri-city bumper on my 900. Let me know if you want it, but you could fab one out of a sheet of tin pretty easily too. It's just there to cover the hole. As far as the track/rear suspension goes... Let your limiter straps out, try changing the position of the torsion spring square rollers. Also check over your shocks... the rear shocks on mine were pretty well destroyed after two years of my riding. Replaced them with the RydeAFX rebuildable shocks, send them off to Andy at GasShockRepair... big difference in performance after that was done.
