Save your pictures to your computer and then using the "go advanced" button at the bottom of the "quick reply box" at the bottom of the page. There is a "manage attachments" button in there where you can browse to where the photos are on your computer and upload them.

I am anxious to see more photos. I have been wanting to restore an old settlers house as a cabin, but a stone one had never really come to mind. Would like to build a log cabin too.... buuuuttt.... ND has no trees haha.

It appears every other block is a different color. Is this original?

Any inside pics?

Yes they are alternating in colors, he (whoever) was an artist really. Did you notice the arch on top of the door? Yes it is original except the 9' covered patio area. My wife hates that because it "ruins the integrity of the building". I would like to build a BBQ on the oposite end of building out of the same rock in time. I'll get some inside pics soon but it has to be completely redone because of water rot in places. Resheeted the floor because it buckled in places and going to put a vinal, wood looking floor to stand up to water. Solar panel and 12 volt system next year.

Those are the Cascade Mts in the background (20 miles) with the Columbia River inbetween. Lake Chelan is directly behind the house. http://www.parks.wa.gov/winter/trail...rized&Region=2 It's an interesting area.

That is a cool place, I bet there is a ton of history in the area.

Didn't really like the roofline that way either but the builder helping me thought a seam could leak if I wasn't around. Not going to leak this way and I definately wanted a covered patio area. Don't know how many farmers have looked at this but I always thought a sodhouse using a moleboard plow would be cheap and easy to put up for a little hide away.

That is a neat house how long has it been in your family? Love how the builder alternated colors of rock and made that archway over the door.

Been in the family for about 50 years and nothing has been done to it till now. Hopefully it will be around for another hundred. Thank you for your service Bronco!
