Default Paragon Secondary Clutch

Well after hearing and seeing how well the paragon can perform from a friend of mine, I finally bit the bullet and tried one out. Mine is an older clutch that has all the latest updates. There have been trials and tribulations involved with the history of the paragon, some had problems some things have been upgraded and fixed along the way. The single biggest thing I've learned from watching my friend and talking with people that have had success with it, is that you can't take the same approach to tuning as you would with a conventional secondary, PERIOD. This is kinda it's own beast.

I put it on my 12 Assault RMK and had my first ride on it today. I also installed the 911 response cover on the primary.

First impressions were the setup I was given was VERY close to spot on, I had to make a little bit of weight adjustment but other than that it was showtime.

I have to say I'm extremely impressed so far. Track speeds are flat out amazing in comparison to the team secondary. I'd say an average of 5-8 MPH higher track speeds. Backshift is instant and smooth without RPM fluctuations.

I have a hard time believing hype on such things but I have to say this thing lives up to the billing. Extremely smooth and flat out performance. I'm sure there's still a bit left on the table with some fine tuning but I'm very happy overall so far.

Big thumbs up to Duane/Hi-Tech for this ingenious piece of engineering.
