I put a pipe and reeds on my kids 600 at the end of last year and got a mid range bog like the 800's used to have. I looked for an air leak but no dice. Last year there was no flash for that set up but it was supposed to be coming. Does anyone know what the deal is with a refalsh this year?

Wow, nothing? Nobody has a 6 piped and reeded? Might have to go to the mormon site.

Sorry, mine is an 07 HO with the carb setup, when I piped and reeded mine I DEFINATELY needed to rejet my sled, I couldn't imagine it not needing one???
Have ya tried calling SLP yet this year? |

I don't think there IS a reflash for it.
The 08 series of sleds doesn't need a reflash for an SLP pipe. Don't know about reeds, haven't heard anyone replacing the reeds.

2006 600 - 151 Carles clutching V-force 3's Slp single - stock Y-pipe 2300 miles fully vented original belt ![]() I thought I might have a leek from when I put the reeds on but I see nothing and sprayed starting fluid around the boots and injectors while running to see if I could get an increase in rpm but nothing. I have heard of v-force 3's failing with the 800's but not on the 6. The stumble is at about 6500 rpm and is very bad. Thanks everyone for the help and I will let you know how it goes. E

Seriously, I would leave the pipe on. I think the problem is the reeds.
I haven't heard or read of anyone replacing the reeds on those so don't know for sure, but I know of more than a few that have put an slp pipe and can on with zero problems.

E, I would love to help. Is it an 08 or an 06? You posted both. 2006 was carb, 2008 EFI.

Correct, '06 was a carb setup and the EFI was offered for the first year in 08 for the 600's.
The reeds helped a lot from what I noticed on my sled being a carb setup, not really a lot of power but it did clean up some spots in my jetting I just could not get cleaned up. You will notice a lot less result from the 08 as the EFI pretty much deemed them worthless. Another thing to check is that there is an update to the vforce reeds if it is an 06 (600HO), spacers were sent out because the fuel was not optimising and creating bog problems, so if it is a carb setup you need the following update:
