how reliable are modern day big bores compared to their stock form? im looking at a m6 with a 800 kit in. im not really looking for something that im going to have to tune every time i stop. just pull and go. let me know what you think. thanks

It depends on the kit, pipes, fuel control box etc. I have two m7s with 800 kits. One will never be a gas and go sled with it's current set up. The other is almost there...the bd box has to be messed with every few ride but it's an old box.

My M7 has a D&D Big Bore which uses factory M8 pistons and its been pretty good. Have it tuned pretty decent. But sometimes it needs some small changes.
