DOUBLE A is an unknown quantity at this point
Default 05' M7 problems

A friends sled.
EFI
He runs a boondocker box with twin pipes/porting

He's lost spark on 2 ecu box's.

He's on the 3rd box now and spark seems to be ok so far except when we
went riding the other day..shut it down for 15 minutes..wouldnt start again.
It's happened before. Its fuel related cause we pulled the plugs and it had spark so we poured some fuel in the cylinders and it fired right up.

When he had this problem before he would richen the bottom end with the boondocker and it fired up..kinda like choking it..so to speak..

It also doesn't seem to hold a good tune. Constantly messing with that boondocker box..

Ideas on the spark loss in the ecu?

Ideas on the starting issue?

I'm still a carb guy, no experience with the efi and boondocker thing.

Happy Trails!

Agreed...But it does run well when tuned and all is working. Just having some issues..Personally I don't trust the Boonbox's. This is also his 3rd boonbox.

Anyone else experience these problems?

Has he checked a the wiring on the BD box? Could be a bad ground or injector wires crossed. I know that on certain models the injector wires are reversed from one another.

When you say "smart valves" are you refering to the three seperate fuel pick ups that it has? Or what exactly is the smart valves?

Thanks.

Can you post a pic of what it looks like under the hood?

Is the ECU moved to the side like it's supposed to be with twins (at least SLPs)? Heat tape etc?
