Default Rupp's

So who rides Rupp's, out here in vintage sled land. I'm looking for a 76 magnum 440 l/c.

I have a 72" or 73' Rupp Nitro 400 fan. In about as many pieces as a sled can get. Had plans the last number of years to restore it but as most my projects go...... too many projects not enough $$$. I have an extra hood, side panels, gauges, full decal kit, extra chrome skis, and some other stuff. Someday tho I will get it back running.

Ahh yes the 73 400 nitro, one of my favorites. Those things were fast in their day, it has the JLO engine ot Tuhatsu? Are you gonna race it when ya get it done?

No racing. Just trailer queen or show it in West Yellowston at the Expo once in a while. Maybe just maybe try one of the vintage races in Island Park if I feel the need to crush a kidney or two lol. I just like the old skool style of it. And boggy wheel suspension with 2" of travel doesn't sound like much fun for my worn out back!!!!

I hear ya on the worn out back Bullfrog, but I gotta try it. That's why I'm lookin for a magnum, ice racer.
GP800, Nitros are bad ass. My dad raced Rupp's all through the 70's. THe 76 was his last one, the thing would do 110 mph on the ice. I wish he would of never sold it...but I was only 8 then...a little young for it...lol. Is it ,all restored? Do you race it?
