Default Has this ever happened to your Secondary?

Started to get a pretty bad vibration about half way through our ride today, took it slow, thought it was the track, tightened suspension bolts and aligned the rear skid, no problems, still vibrating. Thought I might have a chunk taken out of the belt, and this wasnt it either. Going back to the truck it got progressivly worse, I stopped and then started again and heard the sqeuel of the belt, only to find that my torsional set up was cracked, how the hell did this happen, has it happened to you?

Can't say I've ever seen that. Looks like an RKT helix. I would be giving them a call!

I sent him an email about it, dont really want to get into the blame game on this until I hear back, but is does seem to be structural issue, no flat spots on the roller, no loose bolts, spring is fine, and the deflection was set right.

Honestly I would never have thought that could happen. Is that helix cut from billet aluminum?
Maybe some type of material quality inconsistency or defect?

On a side note what kind of rollers are those? To hold up to that kind of abuse without crumbling to pieces is impressive.

yep...seems to be unforseen contaminants in the alloy...nobodys fault that it would not get noticed...i bet if you broke it all the way you would see the impurities

BDX Rock rollers work so well that Cat now offers them.
