Default School me on handlebars

Just going to go buy some handle bars for my mod, Going to be using a riser but just looking for some advice first - should I buy a straight bar, angled back bar, bar with built in lift (U type bar) or flat straight bar with higher riser???

This is going on my XLT mod 159

Advantages/disadvantages?

I think its what is ever comfortable for your stance/sled, unfortunately. May have to look around and find some other sleds with bars you like.

Much of it is going to come down to personal preference. Me I like the feel of the stock Rmk polaris bars. Other buddies love throwing dirt bike bars on their sleds. As far as a bar with lift or flat it depends on your height you want the bars and how your going about it. Flat will need all the height gain in the riser. If you have a riser but its not quite tall enough then get some gain by using a bar with lift.

I take exception to that....

It's spelled Minnesota...

As for the bars, I like the 440 snow-cross bars off a 06 MXZ race sled. Straight bars with a slight rake and hooked ends.

Depends on the sled I have an edge and changed from the Fabcraft to the old style Holtz bars they are a little narrower and different angle which I feel are more comfortable so you have to go with what feels good to you .

Forgot about my old Cat Ti mtn bars. If you can find a set the bare bars are so LIGHT when you pick them up you almost hit yourself in the head!!

Think I am going to put them on my TNT mod' guessing I might be able to lose some weight because will be able to go back to a short riser.

Good Luck
