Default Almost bought a new sled

Went to my "local" dealer to drop off my clutch for a rebuild on Saturday and noticed a sign... no payments or interest for a year on Polaris sleds. I waffled around for quite a while... 10 Dragon 163", 10 Dragon 155", 10 RMK 800 155", 09 Dragon 163", 09 Dragon 155" were the choices. Settled on the 09 163", was going to add a can, skid plate, and under seat bag with rebate money the dealer was offering, $3k trade for my 03 Escape, but Polaris said no-go on the financing. Oh well, I don't really ride enough to justify a brand new sled anyways, but it sure would have made for a fun season
I was surprised how much easier it was to pull the Dragon over compared to my sled on the dealership floor, is it similar on the hill? Funny thing is, I have been debating a newer sled for a while now, but was considering Revs, XP's, and M8's mostly and had ruled the Dragon out because of the issues they've been having. Funny what no payments or interest for a year does to sway a guys opinion

GJ-RN is an unknown quantity at this point

I went from an 03 800 VE to an 07 600 155 a couple of years ago and I could not believe the difference. The 600 would walk all over my 800 in all but really long deep climbs. It would out turn and out climb the 8 most of the time. I have an 08 700 Dragon 163 and it is even more fun. Turns remarkably well for a long track and pulls most anything that I am willing to climb. They both are pull and go sleds with little or no problems. After 2 seasons, I need to recharge the W.E. shocks and I'm thinking of dropping a tooth on the primary. I put a fresh belt on each season just because. Once you have spent any amount of time on the new chassis it is hard to go back.

BTW, be late on ONE payment and your interest rate jumps into the 20s! Better to get a fixed rate personl loan.
