Interesting concept. I have actually worn one of these for the past year or so and they work great for the open faced helmet. Both summer and winter use, definitely keeps the powder snow out of your neck area.

interesting idea its hard to believe that small piece could do much with light snow in the face

Its made of a stiffer material,but not too stiff so it doesn't just fold back. This forces the air around the helmet. It works very well in my opinon, after wearing it for a day you would be amazed at how much it cuts down wind/snow on your neck area.

it looks small enough that you could keep in a pocket and use it the conditions needed it
I never looked at the price are they reasonable
Thinkin it might be a good thing for the wife and daughter to have in their packs
for the days the weather gets nippy

Definitely great for the very cold/windy days, I think he has them priced at $40.00. I know he is playing with some color options along with silk screen logos or "slogans" on them.

There should be a smaller version for smaller framed adults/kids out pretty soon. There are some other guys that have used it for years and swear by them.

Looks interesting. Bet my wife would love one of these. She always wears a headband type deal around her neck and complains of it being bulky after a while. Seems a tad steep price for what it is but if it works then that won't matter.

Looks lame...

My Jacket has a pretty tall collar and i dont typically have any prob with
snow/wind going down my neck.

Even if it works, it looks really stupid. Just sayn...
