The old lady and I were stumbling around the mall Xmas shopping on Saturday and I came across a clearance rack in Old Navy. Apparently they have their own line of UnderArmour type baselayer clothing. Bought a long sleeve shirt and zip up performance fleece for under $30.
All polyester, moisture wicking material. Just a heads up for anyone looking for that type of stuff and don't feel like getting bent over buying the brand name stuff. No one sees it under your gear anyway

I just looked at my receipt. $26.50
That was at Old Navy in Minot, ND so I imagine the pricing is the same across the US.

I'm a gear junkie. Can never have enough. Nice to have enough that you don't have to wear the same base stuff 2 days in a row when on a 3 day trip. Even though it isn't absorbent, you can still smell BO on it after a couple days.

Costco has base layers for about $20.00 for tops, and same for bottoms. They're called paradox, and they're real good.

My husband has a few sets of those and likes them a lot, too.
