I also agree, Cooke city is nice but i thought that it was supposed to rotate around to different sites. I myself wouldn't mind going to a place like Island Park Idaho. Alot bigger town with more variety and great snow. But I am up for anything as long as it's NEW.

BCR ride is a big event... lots of forum members going to be there. Would be nice to include the Hawksters in the event, I am sure that there are more than just a few of us intereted in seeing them in action or possibly swinging a leg over one. Good group ride and lots of variety in West/IP. Couple threads going with all the info, would be a blast to have the hawkers join us!!!

I would be up for something like that in the future. That sounds like alot of fun. It's all about having fun in the snow. Besides it wouldn't hurt my feelings to ride a 250hp sled lol. And for anyone who rides in WA state if you see me on the hill on a orange/blue hawk feel free to stop me if you would like to try it out. That is offcourse if we ever get any snow!

Totally agree with you guys, we went there last year. Mike, Joel, Gordon, Justin, Layne, Harley, Shae and I are out for Cooke this year.

So hopefully, someone puts on their thinking cap for 2013. Would love to meet up with every one again in a new location.

Sounds fun, we just might show up and give the BCR guys a little Hawk support this year!

You know it's unfortunate that you guys feel that way about going back to cook city. They rolled out the red carpet for us....... I would like to go and ride new places as well, but I believe there was a post where Tammy was looking for in put. Majority said let's go back!

It takes Tammy and Tony a lot of time to put this thing together and I can understand why it was chosen to do it again. Most of us just show up and have a good time, but you have to realize that someone has to put this all together and that takes time. It was easier for Tammy to do it in the same place twice because the logistics where all in place.

I Say we all go and support the cause have a good time and then help choose a new location for 2013.

We need more helpers, and less complainers! I just wonder how Tammy feels as she reads this post, hart broken I am sure! She puts a lot into HawkFest, SHOW YOUR SUPPORT, SHOW UP, HAVE A GREAT TIME! That's what it's all about!

Thanks for all your hard work Tammy, let me know how I can help you make Hawkfest 2012 the best Hawkfest ever!

Default Complainers!

That's a pretty strong word, I dont recall saying anything other then it was a nice place but I would rather go somewhere else. And as far as support goes, come on thats a pretty lame statement considering that most of us have said thank you more then once for all the time and effort they have put into past and present Hawkfest's. And I know that a couple of people you directed that statement at have contributed things to hawkfest as well.

I hope everyone that goes has a safe and fun trip. But I have limited vacation and I like to choose where I go and how I use it.

Hmm.. Well I dont see any reason for Tammy to get hurt feelings over a few wanting to go elsewhere, It has nothing to do with her commitment or what effort was put into Hawkfest. I know we are all thankful for the great times we have had. Much of that was due to Tammy's efforts on setting the whole thing up.
I also dont see anyone really complaining???
Having a few mention issues will do nothing but help HF. If its taken defensively that would be the wrong attitude..
No one here wants to derail Hawkfest, But this is the main forum for us all to get the word out on any sort of ride where riders can get together and have a good weekend of single ski fun.
Doing the same thing as last year just wont work for some.. So have a great time..
That BCR Ride looks pretty good to me..Heres an Idea.. combine the two next year.
