Default 2011 Yamaha Nytro Build

Been lurking, browsing and drooling over Rlcofmn's build and decided to post mine. The build is nothing great, but I am doing it and having fun. Constructive criticism is welcome!

So it is a 2011 Nytro that I put on excell header on, 6.9 pilot skis, roll over valve and some other small mods. I used a hole saw on the running boards and cut the sway bar off last year also.

First up,

I wanted to relocate my steering. CR Racing has a kit and OFT does also. The OFT kit has bearings that many people like and the CR kit has a pretty low price. Well, somebody mentioned on the forums using angle alum from the hardware store.

I grabbed 10 bucks in alum from home depot and about 5 in bolts and nutes. I drill the holes and put it on, but my buddies noticed the plastic bearing on the bottom was binding badly. I then took some flat angle alum (being cheap I just cut the angle alum...LOL) put it under the front bearing.

The plastic will need to be cut or removed. I have cut it, but have not decided what to do yet.

Went to the swap meet in NH and had a very good conversation with the camoplast guy there. He talked about all the tracks and I have decided to go with the 2" Challenger. I am glad I already cut out the protectors.

Running boards from last year, and may add more holes soon for looks. Yea, I want air frames. These worked great and you cannot beat the price.

Pilot ski install. I thought these worked really well and they only cost 200 bucks. Not as wide as my buddies XTX skis, but they are still almost 7" wide.

You did not capitalize S or O in your sentences. You forgot the comma after "oh", have an extra "and", forgot three "." in "bcr" and your post was not helpful.

I want to keep weight in mind, so I weighed some things. It is a bathroom scale so not exact but gets the job done.

Skid

Exhaust Can

Exhaust with plastic and the metal cover (I did forget two plastic pieces)

Tool bag with spare belt.

Just the seat.
