underwater shots are pretty amazing, was wishing i had a camera i could do that with over the weekend on a backpacking trip i took

Not much as far as towns go up that way, middle fork isn't near boise really. Its more in the central part of the state, I would guess lewiston, mccall are much closer than Boise.

Stanley is the closest town to the put-in for the middle fork, Salmon is the closest to the take out.

Underwater shots were pretty cool. Always wondered was it was like running a sweep...especially through Pistol. Gotta love the middle fork. Trade you jobs

good for you having a great summer job.

i have been lucky enough to kayak the middle fork 6 times. all private party. River running is a skill you can use the rest of your life.
