When we mounted the motor for last season we skipped to put that on, so does it make any difference or is it just some lame joke??
Talking about a rev 440 -04. |

From my experiences with them, they do not make a huge difference in performance, or any real gain for that matter. What they do is keep the carbs more balanced and seemed a little easier to keep them in tune. Wouldn't hurt to use them but don't expect a huge performance gain.

yea, no really big gains... i had one on my 05 polaris 800, it helped balance the carbs and made the throttle crisp!

Depends. If the carb boots are already punched out for the boost bottle you need to install it or plug up the holes! If not, I would not bother. No noticable gain imo.

We plug them on the grass sleds. Also plug them on the trail sleds. My 04 800 them, now I have a rubber plug installed. Once the carbs are set with mercury sticks you will not need them.
