I'm looking at bidding a job in Boise (large apartment building) and wondering if you guys could give me an idea what the market looks like, if it's as horrid as here, and people are making $.07/ hr like us, or if people are still making decent money?
I get a feeling this is going to be a wood building, no steel, so thinking it will be pretty basic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for any help.

The construction market sucks here. But, I can't find anyone that's willing to work for me, around my place. Cause their all still living in the days of 35 bucks an hour at Tamarack. Seriously, it's impossible to get anyone to even bid a simple small job. You have to know someone. But, everyone's out of work.... go figure.
And, we can't find people to even apply for jobs where I work. Their implementing a bounty program, for bringing people in..... Tech workers is all their interested in. |

I'm a electrical contractor here and the market is getting a little better but still things are still tight. you will have a hard time turning a profit on just one building after all the licenses and travel.
