Default Motor mount help

I have one of those belt eating M1K so I ordered another motor mount and a torque stop to try and resolve this problem. I have the motor mount and torque stop but the mounting brackets are on back order and I can't wait tell mid January for these parts. I think I can fabricate part #19 easy enough but I don't know what to do for part #20. Any ideas about how I can fabricate that part or can any body thing of anything off the shelf that will work?

Here is a pic of what it will look like installed.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you get this part yet?

Your in Lewiston right?

If so call Howell Machine down on main street. They are pretty good.

Measure the OD of the tube. Take the bracket down to them and have them get you a piece of alumin and make it.

One other idea would be to talk Bud's saw service in Cottonwood. See if he has anything you can salvage. This same bracket was used on everything from the M7's up. I think.

any pipe clamp or muffler clamp with even close to the right od jus put a piece of rubber inner tube folded over to take up the odd space.

You are probably right here. But in this case if you mount the motor mount vertically all the force on the motor mount will be in the horizontal direction. If it isn't clamped TIGHT, REALLY TIGHT it will want to twist on the shaft. So you can do whatever but if it isn't solid it will turn on the shaft. Especially with the long lever arm of the mount.

(Not to say anything here but, this is the reason I mounted mine horizontally and to the bottom of the motor rather than the side like the drawing.) With my mounting position it is strictly a push/pull rather than a twist.
