a cylinder...a extra spark plug...a extra piston and rod and crank journel wrist pin and clips....oh...and gaskets...and alot more..!!!...see there has to be a differance betwen 3 and four otherwise the three can be a four and a four can be a three...ps are you Obama's personal adviser...??

That I am not. But what mean I is, does a 4 cylinder give you more power than a 3 or what? Is it more reliable?

what two sleds are you comparing?
apex - nytro? apex - non efi vector? new apex w/EXUP - efi vector? etc. |

For me - the apex motor is just sweet. The sound, the throttle response, and the power.
The nytro deceptively has power - you would not think so jumping from the Apex over to the nytro... The apex and the nytro are two completely different sleds as far as handling goes. Each has their place and IMO you should buy based on what you usually ride (groomed vs rough trails) - unless you are looking at the XTX models - then the decision would be a lot tougher. |

both are very reliable as long as you do your part good fuel & yes the apex makes more power its more stable too if you like that nytro is tippy but is more manuverable.if turboed they are real close nytro takes boost good because of the bigger air volume it can move 1000cc vs 1050cc but apex revs high so it will allways make more power.
